The first meetings that I have for the Snowflake Ridgerunners starts December 12, 1967 with 18 members present. Mary Stratton was nominated and elected for President. There was a vote to hold future meetings the last Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Hardwick Inn with "Pot Luck" supper to precede meeting. Riding Nights was designated to Wednesday and Friday. The following meeting in January there were 65 member present. February 29, 1968 there was a motion made and voted to join the State Association "VAST" with dues of $1.25 per member. The club seemed to put on many member rides to various towns along with camp BBQ's and sugar on snow parties. They also held summer picnics and fall corn roast to boost the clubs interest and involvement. This seemed to do the trick. Club meetings would have up to 99 members present.
