Club meetings are the first Thursday of each month from September to May 6:30p.m. at Hazen Union School.

All members are welcome and ecouraged to join us. We are looking forward to new active members who can help with trail work or just join in on the fun and conversations.

Fall 2009 "To Do" List

De-Brush Trails

Many sections of the trails need to be de-brushed from the summers growth. Other sections haven't been de-brushed for a year or two. Storms are also a major cause of downed trees. Lets hope we don't get any after we have gone in and cleaned up for the season.

Trail Re-Routes

We tend to run into trail re-routes every year. This is caused by the need for better access, new homes being built, or snowmobiles not staying on the trails. Please read and abide by the trails signs. It is assential for the quality and use of the trails.

Bridge Repair

We have many bridges in need of major reconstruction. This is from the railroad pulling rails to, damage from age, accident, vandalism and just normal wear & tear.

Trail Signing

All trails need to be signed. All old, faded or damaged signs need to be replaced. Intersection signs need to be updated, repaired and set up. Then need to be taken all down in the spring.

Grooming

Trails need to be flatted and roughed out for the start of the season while waiting for accumulations of snow to arrive!!!!!
